David joined Weinhold, Nickel & Company, LLP as a staff accountant in June 2008. His work focuses on governmental audits, corporate reviews and compilations, as well as corporate, individual, and estate/trust tax preparation. David has a particular interest in small business accounting as he owns and operates a Single-Member LLC of his own. A sort of self-made computer guru, David also serves as the in-house IT consultant, which includes maintaining the firm's website and Secure FileVault.
David graduated with High Distinction from the Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University in May 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor degree in the Legal Environment of Business. David is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
Born and raised in the Ephrata area, David currently resides in Stevens with his wife and son. He and his wife are both members of and actively involved at Speedwell Heights Brethren in Christ Church, David serving as Visual Coordinator on the Worship Team as well as a member of the Church's Leadership Team. Beyond his faith and family, the two most important aspects of his life, David thoroughly enjoys fly fishing and a host of other outdoor activities, a wide variety of music, and living vicariously through the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip.
