As you are well aware, technology is changing everyday and online security is more important now than ever before. It is for this reason that we are pleased to provide clients with an electronic File Vault. The File Vault is maintained on the cutting edge of security and usability and offers many great new features. It is important that you use the File Vault to ensure that your files are being transferred at the highest level of security possible. The following is the link to access the File Vault, as well as various help topics to assist you in this transition.
HOW TO REGISTER
To begin using the File Vault, you will need to first create a new user profile. To do so, click on the link above, which will open the File Vault login screen in a new window. Click on "Click Here to Register" and complete the registration form. Enter your information carefully as you are creating your login credentials (username and password). To help ensure security, your password must be at least 8 characters long and must contain at least one number and one special character. You will receive an email notification when your account has been confirmed and activated. At that time, you may begin using the File Vault.
HOW TO LOG INTO FILE VAULT
To login, follow the link above and enter your full email address and password, or simply enter your email address and password in the login fields located at the top of each page of our website. If you do not remember your password, you can reset your password by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link. Once your enter your information you will see a portal screen. Here you may access online assistance by clicking the "Help" link the upper right corner. The "My Account" link will allow you to change your account information, including your password. Remember that any password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one number and one special character. To enter the File Vault, simply click the "Secure File Exchange" icon.
HOW TO UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD
To Upload Files:
Log into the File Vault by following the directions above. Ensure that the "My Documents" folder is selected (the long white bar should read "Home > My Documents"). Click "Upload" in the upper left corner. In the "File Vault" window that appears, click "Browse..." to locate the file you wish to upload. Type a brief description in the "Description" box. Click the "Upload" button to upload the file to your secure folder. Your accountant or bookkeeper will automatically be notified via email that a file has been uploaded.
To Download Files:
You will automatically be notified via email when your accountant or bookkeepper uploades any file to your secure folder. To view and download these files, first log into the File Vault by following the directions above. Ensure that the "My Documents" folder is selected (the long white bar should read "Home > My Documents"). Select the file you wish to download and right click once. In the pop-up menu, select "download." If your computer asks you what you wish to do, select "Open" or "Save," depending on your preference.

For help on using the File Vault, you may view help topics by logging in using the link above and the username and password you created. In the upper right corner of the first screen you see, click on the "Help" link. This will give you generic help for various topics.
