Joyce joined the firm in 1999 and became a partner in Weinhold, Nickel & Company, LLP in January, 2010. Joyce has over 25 years experience working with closely held companies and individuals in income tax return preparation and planning, financial statement preparation, business consulting, and trust and estate tax services. Her extensive experience includes various industries such as manufacturing, construction, service, trucking, and non-profit organizations.
Joyce graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Joyce served on the board and as board treasurer of a local retirement community for ten years. She currently serves on a gift planning advisory committee of the retirement community. Joyce is an active member of Neffsville Mennonite Church. She is a member of the Lancaster MS Leadership Class of 2010 and a member of the Lancaster Area Express Network of the American Business Women's Association.
Joyce resides in Akron with her husband, Erv, and two daughters, Kelsey and Amanda. Joyce enjoys reading, cooking, watching Penn State football games, and spending time in the mountains and at the shore.
