Tammie joined Weinhold, Nickel & Company as a manager in January 2009. Tammie graduated magna cum laude from Albright College with a B.S. degree in Accounting and received her certification in the same year. For 25 years, Tammie has worked in public accounting, concentrating in small business, tax, and consulting services. At Weinhold, Nickel & Company, her concentrations are in the closely held business and individual consulting, tax, and attest services.
Tammie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), where she serves on the Reading Chapter Lifestyles and Family Issues Committee. Tammie has also taught courses in QuickBooks® to small business owners and has been a QuickBooks® professional advisor.
Tammie is very active in her church and sits on the consistory, currently in the capacity as vice-president. Tammie's past community involvements were as an officer of the Junior Women's Club of Bern Township, member of the Parent PATCH Organization of the Schuylkill Valley School District, den mother of the Cub Scout troop of Epler's Church, and officer of the youth swim organization of the school district. She has also volunteered at a local foster home offering craft nights on a weekly basis.
Tammie is married and has two grown sons and two granddaughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and family vacations.
